Afghanistan has the expertise and abilities to win the T20 World Cup, says Rashid Khan, who has no qualms in admitting that they “didn’t know” what they have been doing of their maiden Test, which resulted in a two-day thrashing.
Just a little greater than two years in the past, of their their first-ever Test outing, India beat Afghanistan by an innings and 262 runs on the Chinnaswami Stadium in Bengaluru.
“I think the biggest achievement (for Afghanistan) should be, right now, what the team is looking for, what the country is expecting is, to win the T20 World Cup,” Khan, the nation’s greatest cricketer, stated.
The leg-break bowler was talking to Ravichandran Ashwin throughout the present, DRS with Ash, hosted by the India off-spinner.
“We have all the skills, talent, and we just need to have that belief in ourselves that we can do it.
